Naval Architect

Saltwater is a rapidly growing company specialized in maritime engineering.
Therefore, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Naval Architect to join our expanding team.
As a Naval Architect, you will play a crucial role in the engineering of various maritime projects.
You will collaborate with our team of expert engineers to ensure the successful completion of complex assignments.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Developing vessel designs from concept to basic engineering
• Preparation and execution of inclination tests and stability calculations
• Design-, & the implementation of different ship systems, such as Ballast Water Treatment Systems
• Determining vessel motion behavior by performing complex calculations with dynamic analysis software

This function calls for a candidate with:

• An "MBO", AD, BSc. or Msc. degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical-, Civil Engineering or comparable
• At least 5 years of experience in the maritime industry
• Expert knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD/BricsCAD and Autodesk Inventor
• Strong communication and social skills
• A positive attitude and team spirit

Afrondend gesprek met de CEO, dit zal een afrondend arbeidsvoorwaardengesprek zijn.
